BENin10D has signed up with artistpr.com and from the start these guys are doing a tremendous job. If you are a new artist, these guys are worth the payments for you. Of course our CD is a bit unique in the fact it has a dual purpose First, being enjoyment of the listener and Second, for producers of other national artist to be able to hear a good foundation of the song without all the extra tracks and arrangements added to most CD's. Our next CD already being worked on will contain all the trimmings of tracks, instruments and multiple vocals.
I can not begin to tell you how fun it is working on the songs already written. Exploring the songs personality, one of them we have re recorded numerous times with different beats, sounds and attitudes and are having a difficult time deciding which version best represents the song! If you are a writer or musician, you know exactly what we're talking about, it is really FUN !
Our fan's and friend's have increased dramitically in the last month and we would like to THANK all of you for the support, not to mention our deepesty appreciation for the people buying this CD. There are 2 types of fans, there are the ones that like your music and list themselves as a fan of yours and their are the ones that list themselves and buy the CD and we are GRATEFUL for all of them ! Birmingham native Joseph “Joe B.” Benintende, aka “BEN in 10D” recently received the honor of being named Finalist by the VH-1 Song of the Year ( http://www.songoftheyear.com/ ) songwriting contest. Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation. The Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music including many Grammy Award winners such as Beyonce, George Strait, Aerosmith, Amy Grant, Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Dolly Parton and Bon Jovi.
Song of the Year is excited to recognize Joe B. for his exceptional songwriting ability for the song “This Country That We Live In”. Joe B. competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor including contestants from 8 countries. When asked what inspired the song “Joe B.” commented that as he watched the towers fall in 2001, he felt a need to write, he felt a need to sing, he felt a need to remember just what this country we call America, really meant to him !)
Currently Joe B. is concentrating on his songwriting career while hoping to establish a hit song and album on the charts with the artists he has come to be close friends with. After 20 years of Directing Production on tours and concerts, he beams while sharing that it is so incredibly wonderful to have the opportunity to spend time focusing on his music instead of someone elses.
